Department of Cultural Anthropology and Ethnology

New Doctors

Congratulations to our new doctors in cultural anthropology Nika Rasmussen and Kristian Sandbekk Norsted. After arduous work they had the unusual end to studies and research with defenses of their dissertations via zoom. But both proved their brilliance in front of digital crowds.

Nika is now Dr. Rasmussen after successfully defending her dissertation "Embodied Citizenship in the making - Bolivian youth at the crossroads of social hierarchies". Kristian Dr. Sandbekk Norsted after successfully defending his dissertation "Subjects of Feminism: The Production and Practice of Anxiety in A Swedish Activist Community".
